MUNTERS INVESTS IN BARNTOOLS AND FORMS A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

Munters has made an investment and formed a strategic partnership with BarnTools. The collaboration will offer farmers and food producers unique IoT-solutions and sensors. This will allow producers to optimize their entire food production value chain and grow their operations.

Munters invests in technology companies and start-ups with the aim to accelerate innovation within digitalization, technology and sustainability. The investment in BarnTools enables Munters business area FoodTech’s strategic ambition to grow our digital solutions and connect the entire food production value chain with innovative software and precision farming solutions.

BarnTools provides wireless IoT and sensor solutions for poultry and pork producers that are easy to install, user-friendly and cost-efficient for farmers. With BarnTools’ wireless alarm system, the company provides farmers and integrators with reliable monitoring, real-time visibility and data management. BarnTools is based in Iowa, US.

MTech Systems, a Munters company within the business area FoodTech, and BarnTools will jointly continue to develop the complete offering to the market.
