Munters received the Innovative Solution Award at Datacloud Asia 2017 in Singapore

BroadGroup, the international consultancy and event company, announced the winners of the inaugural Datacloud Asia Awards 2017 in recognition of the leading players who are influencing and shaping Asia Pacific’s data economy. The much-coveted accolades demonstrate genuine innovation and continuing evolution of the data center and cloud sectors in the region.

The awards were presented on the evening of 23^rd February at the Capella Hotel in Singapore and hosted by BBC anchor Rico Hizon to an audience of over 250 executives from the data center and cloud industries. An independent panel of industry experts judged entries across a range of award categories.

Munters received the “Innovative solution award” for its DCiE cooling solution for data centers. The Oasis™ DCiE Indirect Evaporative Cooling system uses Munters advanced EPX technology, high efficiency fan walls and re-claimed water keeping down the overall costs of running a data center.  With 3 modes of operation the Oasis will adapt and keep the data center cool all year round.  Because the system is indirect the data hall becomes a sealed system which means no outdoor pollutants can enter the data hall, increasing server lifetime and minimizing maintenance.
