Munters issues green bond of SEK 1 billion under MTN-program

Jun 9, 2025

Munters has issued a three-year green bond of MSEK 200 and a five-year green bond of MSEK 800 under its MTN-program (Medium Term Note). The offering attracted strong interest from investors and was significantly oversubscribed.

The MTN-program was established on 30 May 2025 with the purpose of further diversifying the company’s funding sources. The net proceeds from the green bond issue will be allocated to green projects, in accordance with Munters Green Bond Framework.

“Our inaugural green bond issue was met with great interest. This represents a milestone in our sustainability journey and strong investor recognition of our strategy. We will be using the capital to invest in solutions that support our climate targets and create long-term value. As part of our long-term funding strategy, we intend to be a recurring issuer in the bond market,” says Katharina Fischer, CFO and GVP at Munters.

Nordea is the arranger of the MTN program and acted as joint dealer together with SEB.
