The saddle’s scalloped edge eliminates stacking, increasing separation efficiency and energy savings due to low pressure drop. Select the plastic saddle for applications with lower temperatures and corrosive surfaces for mass transfer processes. For processes demanding higher temperatures and superior resistance to chemical attack, opt for the glazed ceramic saddle for enhanced capacity and reduced porosity.
