Installing Munters mist elimination systems

The Munters three-stage separation solution for blast furnace gas treatment is one of our core steel industry products. Gas is contaminated with naphthalene that condenses and crystallizes and this solution protects absorption material in the downstream PSA system by combining two stages of mist eliminators and a candle filter, thereby removing even the finest droplets and particles.

Munters mist eliminators for air intakes, flue gas desulphurization, wet gas scrubbers and stack rain and our structured packing are also commonly used in the steel industry. Munters can supply different customized solutions and material, including stainless steel, ensuring the product is adapted to the harsh conditions in steel mills.
