World Pork Expo 2015

Munters AgHort team attended the World Pork Expo located in DesMoines Iowa last week. The show opened on Wednesday June 3rd and continued till Friday June 5th.

About 20,000+ pork producers, their employees and other professionals attended Expo. Enhancing the global perspective, representatives from more than 30 countries visit the three-day show each year. Expo also provides the opportunity for pork professionals to network and reconnect.

 The “New Product Tour” sponsored by the “National Hog Farmer” publication, is a program offered this year a World Pork, in which exhibiting companies may enter a "New Product" to be judges by a panel of experts who advise which products offer the highest benefit to the Pork industry. Munters had an entry, the soon to be released VX36 with Munters Drive.

We were thrilled to learn on Thursday, that we had been selected as a finalist.

Anticipation was thick in the air, along with the smell of BBQ! As one would expect, there’s no shortage of pork at Expo, and the Big Grill is a must-see. Each day, you could stop by for a free pork lunch. The Big Grill serves up some 10,000 pork lunches during Expo’s three days.
