Munters Data Center Business Area appoints Kevin Hughes as Vice President Sales for APAC region

Munters is delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Hughes with immediate effect to the Data Center Business Area for Munters APAC. Based in Singapore, Kevin will oversee the sales strategy for Asia Pacific bringing with him extensive Data Center industry experience.

Munters is delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Hughes with immediate effect to the Data Center Business Area for Munters APAC. Based in Singapore, Kevin will oversee the sales strategy for Asia Pacific bringing with him extensive Data Center industry experience.

Kevin has more than 25 years of Mechanical & Electrical engineering experience, 15 years of which has been spent in IT industry in Australia and across the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Munters, he has worked with Eaton Electric, Siemens, Schneider Electric & Emerson Network Power in different managerial roles that support the IT industry. He has an Honor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and also completed his MBA at the Southern Cross University in Australia.

Kevin Hughes spent 3 years with Emerson Network Power as their National Contracts Manager based out of Sydney, Australia. Later he joined APC Schneider Electric as Solution Architect and Systems Engineering Team Leader for the Pacific sub-region. More recently Kevin played a key role in developing and implementing partner, channel and internal education programs for Siemens before moving to Eaton Electric as Director, Data Center Segment.

Kevin's role in Munters will involve direct control of sales, service and project management teams in Japan, China, Australia and Singapore, overseeing the rapid ongoing expansion of the Data Center Business Area in the region.

Kevin explained "I am fortunate to be joining Munters at such an exciting time, with new products in the pipeline and a state-of-the-art manufacturing & product development facility to be opened in the region later in the year."
