Sales Coordinator - Parts & Contracts for Global Services

What is your position?

I am a Sales Coordinator - Parts & Contracts for Global Services.  I process orders for parts and combo (parts & service combined) quotes.  I also follow up on the backlog report for our location as well as provide varies reports to management regarding our KPI’s or other ad hoc reports.

What's the most innovative Munters product or (initiatives, changes) that you are most "proud" of? 

I’m most proud of our Astea  program.  It’s been amazing to see it change and grow. Some aspects are still being developed which is exciting as we know what we will be capable of doing soon.  We’ve come a long way and it’s been a very interesting journey that I’m very grateful to be a part of.

Tell me about a fun experience at Munters

I’ve worked here for 10 years and have so many.  How do I choose just one? LOL

We had a special project our team was working on that required us to come in to work on a Saturday and Sunday. To help make up for working all weekend, we took breaks to play bingo and win prizes. Some of us wore our PJ bottoms and we had junk food everywhere.  We worked hard but had a great time doing it.

What challenges are you facing in your day-to-day job?

I’m always willing to help everyone which means my plate can get rather full.  At this point, I’m the queen of multi-tasking.  I know this is self-imposed but I enjoy helping.  It’s just that some days….

What would a perfect Sunday be like for you?

The chores are all done and I can sit by the fire to crochet or cross stitch.  When the weather is nice, I like to go for walks in the woods.

What would your best career advice be for a new employee who is about to start a career with Munters?

Don’t be afraid to speak up.  You may be able help improve a process.  Remember, there is always a better way.

What’s the best part of your job?

Helping people.  Between my internal and external customers, I feel a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.  I’ve made some good relationships over the years.  I have one customer that will call me to say hello even if he doesn’t need to place an order.
