MUNTERS ANNOUNCES ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES

Munters Group AB (MTRS), a global leader in energy efficient air treatment and climate solutions, announces organizational changes. The changes aim at increasing business ownership and accountability as well as capturing synergies across the Group. The changes mean that Global Operations, part of the Group Management Team, changes into Strategic Operations. Also, two new Group Management Team roles are created, Innovation and Commercial Excellence.

Munters will make organizational changes aiming at creating clearer business ownership and accountability as well as to increase cross-functional collaboration, capture local synergies and enhance value creation in the short- and long term. The changes are effective as of March 1^st, 2020.

Organizational changes:

• Global Operations, is changed to Strategic Operations focusing on selected key strategic processes and tools in order to ensure operational excellence. The line responsibility to run the factories and all other strategic, tactical and operative issues related to manufacturing and the supply-chain are moved from Global Operations to the Business Areas.

• Two new roles are created in the Group Management Team: Innovation and Commercial Excellence. These roles are coordinating their respective main functional processes, such as research & development, pricing strategy, go-to-market models, etc.
   

Katarina Lindström, Group Vice President, Global Operations and part of the Group Management Team, has decided to leave Munters due to the change of the role Global Operations, after securing a good transition. Stefan Måhl, has been appointed as interim Vice President of Strategic Operations.
