30+ year old dehumidifiers replaced by modern and more energy efficient MLT dehumidifiers
Vordingborg City and Nyraad are supplied with water from Moerkeskov and Bakkeboelle Waterworks, where Munters dehumidifiers, for more than 30 years, effectively have protected installations, pipes and building structures from moisture-related damage.
Until recently, the two waterworks were equipped with Munters desiccant dehumidifiers type M200 and M600, which kept the humidity in the waterworks low enough to deal with the summer's problems with condensation on cold surfaces.
The two dehumidifiers belong to a product line that is no longer in production and where Munters is now no longer able to procure spare parts in case of need for repair.
In connection with a recent renovation of the waterworks, where additional new users were also connected after the closure of a smaller and older waterworks, the time had come to replace the dehumidifiers.
Munters prepared an quotation for Vordingborg Water for new and future-proof dehumidifiers, both of which are from Munters' MLT series.
At Moerkeskov waterworks, the old M600 dehumidifier was replaced by an MLT800 unit, at Bakkeboelle waterworks, a M200 dehumidifier was replaced by a new MLT350 unit.
The MLT dehumidifiers ensure the waterworks an economic gain from their more energy-efficient operation. Common to the new dehumidifiers are i.a. the built-in internal rotor heat recovery sector that reduces the installed power required for regenerating the dehumidifier’s rotor.
The MLT800 dehumidifier is also equipped with Munters' latest Munters AirC control system. A future-proof control system that provides high flexibility and functionality, all to ensure that the dehumidifier works in the most energy-efficient way.
