Munters invests in FarmSee

The investment in FarmSee, a leader in advanced computer vision and AI for the swine industry, will allow food producers to optimize their entire value chain and improve animal health.

In the swine industry, the farmer normally makes a manual check of the livestock. It is difficult to make accurate, individual assessments of each animal, and, above all, it is time-consuming. Using advanced computer vision and AI, FarmSee gives the farmer the ability to assess each swine’s weight and overall health. This results in more efficient food production and better animal welfare. In addition, the climate control system works best knowing the mass weight of the swine on the farm.
