EM50 Retrofit Kit with Munters Drive

Focusing on continuous improvement and innovation, Munters is proud to announce the launch of EM50 Retrofit Kit, which brings the Munters Drive technology to existing EM50 fans.

By using the Retrofit Kit, standard EM50 units can be upgraded to support high performance direct driven EC fans along with all the direct and indirect benefits that these fans provide.

The electric motor Munters Drive bases its operating principle on Electronically Commutated technology (EC) and represents the latest solution in high efficiency electric motors, offering high performance and low energy consumption. This revolutionary motor, which runs coolly and quietly, offers up to a 60% reduction in electrical usage and while being maintenance free; this combination saves money while adding efficiency in agricultural ventilation systems.

The shutter will continue to operate through a new centrifugal mass that guarantees full opening at only 225rpm. The airflow remains substantially the same as the EM50. Nevertheless, by using the flexibility of the motor an additional 5% of airflow can be achieved.
