The role of the Financial Function is to develop and support the Group to deliver its financial targets. To secure Business and Financial Control, a high level of governance and continuous improvements in Tax and Treasury areas. Ownership and development of Budget Process and Munters Financial Manual.
The Finance Mission is to support the business in critical decision making; challenge the organization in order for the business to perform better; to secure that Munters is compliant with relevant standards and regulations; to provide accurate and reliable financial information in a timely and efficient manner.
The Group CFO heads Group Finance and is a member of the Group management team and operative as rapporteur in Munters Board of directors. Munters has centralized finance functions covering the areas of Treasury, Tax, Accounting and Controlling. Treasury is responsible for global cash management, internal and external funding, bank relationships and loan compliance as well as financial risk management activities such as monitoring and reducing currency exposure. The Tax function optimizes the Group´s efficient tax exposure and ensures compliance to local tax regulations. Tax matters connected to important legal and business agreements are also covered. Accounting has responsibility of consolidating the group’s legal and operational financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other regulations. Internal audit activities are coordinated from Accounting and the common consolidation system are owned and maintained within the department. Group Controlling, reporting to CFO, with the task of monitoring the business performance and being a close business partner to the local management.
