Munters was invited to join the Swedish Air Pollution Control Delegation to visit Jiangsu Province as a global leading environmental protection solution provider. The data shows that since 1990 the toxic emission of Sweden has been reduced 20% while the economy growth reached 60% at the same period. On May 25th 2015, Swedish Air Pollution Control Delegation (“the Swedish delegation”) visited Jiangsu Province,China to share its experience on air pollution control industry. Jiangsu, as an important province of industry and high-tech, now faces serious threats by industrial pollution, and the visit of the Swedish delegation therefore is warmly welcomed by the local environmental protection departments. Focused on the topic of “How to Promote the Air Pollution Control as the Response to National Calls for Energy Conservation and Emissions Reduction”, the Swedish delegation had in-depth communication with provincial and municipal environment officials, the settled-in enterprise representatives of local environmental protection industry area and chemical industry park successively through keynote speech and open discussion during the three-days roadshow. They shared the world’s leading environmental protection technologies with the local enterprises, which can help them to achieve low-carbon sustainable development without jeopardizing economic profits.
The Swedish delegation led by Consul General for Embassy of Sweden at Shanghai is composed of six renowned Sweden enterprises on environmental technology and two financial service institutions.
