In my position as an Asia Application Engineer, I support all the AirTreatment sales people in Asia region mainly by making technical design documents and also collaborate with Munters people in the globe.
I enjoy travelling to meet (both internal & external) people around the world, so that we can learn from each other and create new synergy and implement something better than yesterday. I also enjoy the constantly changing our team missions, hoping we move ahead to the state of art technology.
What's the most innovative Munters product or initiatives you are most "proud" of?
Personally I love Oasis concept. Its simplicity to cool the air with saving energy is awesome! As an opposite design philosophy, I also like MB&BX series that are full customizing model to fit perfectly (even very small details can be adjustable) to the customer requirements.
Maybe you know the game “I pack my bag and take with me…”; Give me 3 things you pack from your daily life which you need or characterize you and tell me why it is important for you.
Music player, headphone, novels, lunchbox, bottle of coffee. I like keeping myself busy, traveling and trying new things. I’m always carrying some new books and music. I cook my lunch on regular basis but not every day. I’m very particular about coffee and café, which makes me feel relaxing.
Tell me about a fun experience at Munters
When my former boss left this company, we made his 9 year’s history animation movie for the farewell party. We succeed to surprise him and he was impressed. And this non-business activity makes me feel the bond of Munters people.
What challenges are you facing in your day-to-day job?
In my day-to-day business my biggest challenge is to give perfect fits to the customers in a wide range of different industries and processes. Asian customers are typically demanding and I have very limited time to consider our proposals, I try to keep a better human relationships which allows me to share the info with no time. Improving the quality of my proposals and working efficiency is the key to success.
What would a perfect Sunday be like for you?
Having a brunch at a favorite cafe under the sun.
What would your friends say is your biggest strength?
One of my strength is to be open to new things and I’m willing to study a lot of divisions’ job, having curiosity. One more strength, I have many good friends who are brilliant.
What’s the best part of your job or working day?
I generally focus on big projects, so I feel happy when we can spread and implement some successful cases into another region or industries. Also I enjoy learning cutting-edge technology with our customers, so that we should keep the highest engineering level about HVAC.
