Munters Protect the barrier against corrosion

Munters moves away from galvanized steel for the metal fan line and now launches Munters Protect. The implementation of the new anti-corrosion material forms another step in Munters quest of safeguarding that our products stand the test of time and last in the environment where they are placed, while ensuring that the environmental footprint is reduced.

Step by step with continuous improvements

The agriculture environment is challenging to metal products and corrosion is caused by many factors such as pH, high humidity levels, frequent contact with water and aggressive chemicals from manure or disinfectants.

Today we see that the housing is cutting fan life short, which is why we offer Munters Protect. All Munters' metal fans from our factory in Italy will from now on be coated with Munters Protect", says Director of Product Management, Giacomo Bergui.
