Data Centre Testing Facilities

As a world leader in innovative energy efficient climate control for data centre cooling, Munters State of the Art Data Centre Cooling Test Facility provides customers with the ability to view Munters Oasis Indirect Evaporative Coolers (IEC) putting them through their paces on servers over a range of climate conditions.

The facilities have been opened since the spring of 2013 and are being used extensively for both factory acceptance testing as well as product development prototype testing to make sure Munters keeps pushing the limits on bringing you the latest on energy efficient solutions for Data Center cooling.

The facilities- located within the Belgian and American Manufacturing plant, are built like actual working data centres, with monitoring and modeling tools to test the Oasis IEC systems over a range of environmental conditions so Munters data centre customers can try out various practical scenarios.

Munters data centre cooling test facilities follow ASHRAE Standard 143-2015 guideline method for indirect evaporative cooling testing. The test lab can verify thermodynamic and electrical performance of Munters Oasis IEC series between 5°C to 45°C dry bulb and up to 33C WB in order to simulate diverse data centre climate conditions worldwide. The test facilities enables data centre operators to factory witness test their Oasis IEC 100, 200, 300, 400 series systems. Munters' American factory in Buena Vista, VA has the ability to do full performance testing on data center units up to 400 kW in capacity.
