Upgrading controls on older Munters air treatment equipment offers improved energy efficiency and a number of flexible control options are available.

Munters Climatix Control System is the standard control system on most bigger dehumidification systems manufactured by Munters today. But also customers with older dehumidifiers already in operation can take advantage of this control system that offers:

• Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, BACnet IP, and WEB options for remote connectivity
• Full control of added functionalities like pre-treatment, post-treatment, heating, cooling, humidification
• Possibility to log values

MX conversion to Climatix

Take preventative action and convert your well-functioning MX dehumidifier with a new Climatix controller.

Operating one of Munters’ good old work horses, the MX dehumidifier with integrated DDC control, provide you with a long lasting air treatment solution with a number of upgrade options.

The DDC controller of the MX series has served its purpose very well over more than two decades, but does not have the features of a modern controller. With components becoming obsolete, Munters is no longer able to replace the DDC controller.

The controller conversion kit is being manufactured on demand, fitting the specific configuration of your MX unit, which naturally will imply some lead time. We therefore recommend you to plan for the intervention, avoiding downtime in case of a sudden controller breakdown.

ML3* control conversion to Climatix

If you own a ML dehumidifier* manufactured between 2005–2015 then Munters suggests you take preventative action and convert your well-functioning ML dehumidifier with a new Climatix controller.

The equipped ACD/ICD controller is obsolete, and no one on one replacement is available if it breaks down. To best service these units and extend their lifetime Munters recommends you to convert your control system with our Climate Climatix conversion kit.

*This conversion kit can be used with ML17, ML23 and MLT30

ML2E* control conversion to AirC400

If you own a ML dehumidifier* delivered from 1996–2023, Munters suggests you take preventative action and convert your well-functioning ML dehumidifier with a new AirC400 controller. 

The equipped PCB control module is obsolete, and no direct replacement is available if it breaks down. To avoid unplanned downtime and extend the lifetime of your ML unit, Munters recommends that you convert your control system with our ML2E series AirC400 conversion kit. 

*This conversion kit can be used with ML420E, ML690E, MLT800E, ML1100E, ML1350E, MLT1400E.

ML2E* control conversion to Climatix

The equipped PCB control module is obsolete, and no direct replacement is available if it breaks down. To avoid unplanned downtime and extend the lifetime of your ML unit, Munters recommends that you convert your control system with our ML2E series Climatix conversion kit. 

*This conversion kit is designed for ML420E, MLT800E, ML690E, ML1100E, ML1350E and MLT1400E units delivered from 1996 – 2023.
