Dehumidification reduces heating costs and preserves church
Heritage such as churches are unique and it is important to preserve them for future generations.
Unfortunately, Sweden has one of the wettest climate in the northern hemisphere with relative humidity of 80%. Therefore, moisture is one of the most important factor for the preservation of great heritage. Moisture on floors and walls in churches destroys historical objects in the building but also the building itself. The cost for the maintenance of buildings can be extremely high when traditional heating systems are used and the ability to get rid of mold with these systems are limited.
By keeping a low moisture content (small amount of water per kg of dry weight) is substantially lower heating costs for heating.
