New strong cooperation of Danish companies creates an international focal point in Herning, Denmark

Munters and 17 other Danish producers within the pig industry have chosen to think outside the box and to be creative by establishing the Danish Pig Academy.

A new international gathering place for pig producers has seen the light of the day. Here you can experience the best of Danish technology at one place. A common showroom in Herning creates the framework for this new cooperation. But the Danish Pig Academy is much more than just a common showcase! DPA will host a number of events on a regular basis, where you can get inspiration and updates within the latest pig industry developments.

“The development in the industry has long been in the direction towards fewer, but bigger pig producers. It sets the new demands for us as pig producers. That is why it is necessary to cooperate and to provide high level consultancy. These are the demands we try to meet by establishing the Danish Pig Academy”, says Torben Olesen, Chairman of the Danish Pig Academy, and continues: 

“We will create a gathering place for both international and Danish pig producers as well as other interested persons, groups, institutions and organizations within the pig industry. We wish our visitors to get a special experience when they drop by our showroom; it is here where they can get an idea of what Danish producers have to offer – all under one roof!”

You can hold meetings and events in the exciting and inspiring surroundings, with the possibility of accommodation in the newly renovated guest house.
