VIV Europe 2018: Climate Control’s Present and Future
The VIV Europe show is based on the 'Feed to Food' principle – one stop for everything involved in the animal food industry. Although it takes place in Europe, VIV Europe is actually a global event focused particularly on the world of production and processing for poultry meat and eggs and including pig meat, calve meat, dairy and fish.Munters went all out to participate in this event, designing and building a huge 160 square meter booth. One prominent aspect of the booth was the space dedicated to Reventa and M-Tech, two recent acquisitions that we proudly announced to the international audience.
Our booth was designed to illustrate and demonstrate Munters world wide network, its extended portfolio of products, as well as our sub-companies (for example Reventa mentioned above).
As a result of our expansions, Munters now markets completely integrated climate control solutions for the swine and poultry industries. These solutions, suitable for any climate (cold climates included), were lacking until recently.
That is one part of the story, the hardware aspect. In addition, Munters now serves as a leader in software solutions for the agricultural industries. This was amply demonstrated at the show, where we dedicated two interactive installations in M-Tech’s side booth. This booth provided people with a hands-on opportunity to see M-Tech’s cutting edge capabilities.
In addition to all of the above, Munters reps held a special seminar on our farming and food processing technologies. This was the second time that Munters ran this training session, having done so in CAHE. We were honored to have Gordon Butland, a Director at G&S Agriconsultants and a world renown industry expert, participate in the seminar.
