CELdek lead time is usually less than the other vendors, customer service is quick to resolve problems and or warranty issues. Munters can react to emergency situations. Performance of the pad is consistent. Warehouse in United States is helpful for quick shipments of standard pads.

We prefer CELdek pads due to the quality behind the Munters brand and the service they offer. In some occasions our own customers demand CELdek pads in their units. What we like the most is the reliability, warranty and performance of this media.

First of all for its quality, then for the brand and finally for the confidence and the credibility behind the company name in all aspects!
It is a high quality product and fulfills the expectations and specifications.
Among other four manufacturers we have used so far it is the best!
Our rate of complaints (problems) with the Celdek is 0% while the other brands we've had disastrous experiences! On the aspects mentioned above!

Entering in the industry in 1994 and not coming from a "greenhouse" background, I was taught when quoting and delivering a cooling pad system to use CELdek pads.  Sure, less "expensive" pad media was available, but CELdek was preferred by most growers.  16 years later, I still only promote CELdek pads, but for different reasons. 

 The construction of the pad and quality of the paper ensure better water absorption and greater pad life, now even better due to the edge coatings. I've never filed a warranty replacement for any pad, which is a definate statement for quality.  Growers still today specify CELdek pads when asking for a quote. While different competitors come in and out of the market, this shows the reputation of product that Munters has worked to maintain. There is a difference in being a cooling pad choice or being the preferred choice for cooling pads!
 
My main concern when working with any company is customer service.  With Munters, it is always consistent and top quality.  No matter how large or small the quotation or the project, each one gets handled with the same efficiency and attention.  Everyone I have spoken with at Munters is always helpful and attentive to whatever the need may be, but my main customer service representative is John McKenzie.  Thanks to everyone for all they do, and "John, thanks for doing a great job!"

We only sell CELdek pads we do not handle any other pad, because we have seen the installations of our competitors with other pad brands. Other pads shrinks, the water absorption is not as good as CELdek pads and the other pads do not distribute the water evenly. This leaves dry areas in the pad decreasing their cooling efficiency. That does not happen with CELdek. Our policy is to work with only one vendor per product and we choose to work with Munters.
