Most broilers are delivered to processing facilities at 45 days of age weighing around 2 kg. In order to maximise the bird’s performances a comfortable and healthy environment is required, consisting of:
• Oxygen supply and harmful gases exhaustion • Heating during the cold season • Ventilation for heat and moisture removal • Additional cooling during warmest periods
